TOPPAN PaperBlister™ is the all-paper retail blister package formerly offered as Sonoco Alloyd’s EnviroSense® PaperBlister™. Following TOPPAN’s 2025 acquisition of Sonoco’s Thermoformed & Flexibles Packaging business, PaperBlister™ is now designed and manufactured by TOPPAN Packaging.
Who makes PaperBlister™ packaging?
TOPPAN Packaging designs and manufactures PaperBlister™. The product line was formerly offered by Sonoco Alloyd as EnviroSense® PaperBlister™ and moved to TOPPAN in 2025.
Is PaperBlister™ recyclable?
Yes. PaperBlister™ is an all-paper, plastic-free package that is recyclable in the standard paper stream and uses water-based sealing technology with no VOCs.
Do I need new equipment to run PaperBlister™?
No. PaperBlister™ runs on existing Alloyd Aergo® sealing equipment with a one-time retrofit, so most current blister lines can convert without buying new machinery.
